Abit tricky to get working on Android 10, I've had to add it as a trusted device at least twice now. App does what it should on my pixel 2. Beware of the backup recording mode - input gain decreases from 42 to 0, with no increments in between. (Which Doesnt cut it for live music)... Turn scenes off, choose no backup, and you are all good... 🙂

I would love to be able to use this with my S8. it will not connect. any advice?? i have old samsung S5 and it works perfectly! S8 is a NOPE! (Its now a yes!) UPDATE. Thanks to a fellow reviewer here I discovered how to make it connect. It will work if you have the blue tooth turned on the roland first , THEN open up the app on phone. It will connect when you do it in that order. I have successfully used the remote on my samsung s8 now. Very happy about that!

with Andorid 5.0 (Samsung Galaxy Note 3) all runs fine. with Android 8.0 (Samsung Galaxy S8+) the R-07 is detected on Bluetooth (scan dispays the device), but the Connection does not happened: No coammand is sent to the R-07,

Installed and paired flawlessly with my Huawei FIG-LX1. Comprehensible layout, sufficient functionality. I just don't get what it needs location data for.

Roland kind of abandon Android. They don't support USB to Android record, but support iOS. The counterpart app on iOS functions better than this Android version. Bad decision making and bad enterprise R&D resource deployment.

Sadly the Roland R-07 remote app is too flakey to be any use. Connection usually fails.
