It works! and is quite accurate for tuning my acoustic guitar down to Eb or concert pitch, pretty good considering it's free, tried this after my original Japanese 1980s boss tu12 finally packed it in. Quite amazing how you can tune a guitar with a mobile phone it all goes down to how good the mic in your mobile is. Thumbs up Boss. 👍🎵🇦🇺

Brilliant. Looks and works just like my favourite guitar tuner - I love it! The "needle" LED indicator is less stable (but probably more accurate and faster responding) than my dear old Boss TU2 pedal, which is uniquely stable, more like the other electronic tuners I have used (inc. 2 Korgs). I prefer the stability of my actual Boss pedal but this app is fabulous - thank you Boss!

The app used to be great but recently it suddenly started sending multiple push notifications about random news articles and updates several times a day. There is no option to opt out or disable these.

This is pretty sharp, spot on accurate. I installed it after losing my clip on guitar tuner. I can tune by ear alone but like to check it is perfectly tuned, using an electronic device. To feel secure. I thought this would be hard and unreliable but it was easy, very accurate and trustworthy. No excuses for out of tune guitar playing. Bad enough playing wrong notes/chords, without adding out of tune guitar and probably off key, out of tune voice. Guitar in tune gets one fundamental thing right,

Lovely tuner! Has made my tuning experience for Guitar, Ukelele and ethnic string music instruments (eg: Nepali Tungna) so much easy - especially for fast tuning situations. It is stable and very easy to use. The familiar Boss pedal design am used to adds to easy quick viewing. But, for more sensitive ethnic bowing (eg: Sarangi), overtone (eg: singing bowls) and drumming (eg: tabla) instruments, I use one other tuner as complimentary to this cool Boss tuner. Highly recommended🙏🎸🎼🎶
