Truly awful. When I did eventually manage to connect my instrument via Bluetooth ( needs the gps on for some reason but nowhere says that) I have all these great sounds that are unplayable on an android phone because of the delay between phone and instrument. No way to get the app to accept USB connection. I feel that the whole thing is a massive con if you compare the reality to the advertised description.

On the positive side, the app is useful (essential, in fact) for changing advanced settings on the instrument. Connecting via Bluetooth may take a few tries but it generally works. But the serious problem that has been noted by others is that the latency when playing the sounds in the app is bad enough that you need to use the USB connection. But I and many others have been unable to get this to work on Android devices. The phone just doesn't recognize the connection, so it's Bluetooth or nothing. And since Bluetooth is useless for actually playing the extra sounds, except to test them (and they're pretty good, too), Android users find themselves in the frustrating position of hearing the sounds, wanting to play them, but being unable to do so in a useful way, due to lag. I tried the workaround another reviewer posted but it didn't help on my Android phone, a OnePlus 6T. Roland needs to fix this as soon as possible, since as things stand the app does not function as described.

After finally realising that the Aerophone GO wouldn't connect via Bluetooth as my phone's GPS wasn't on (???), I managed to get it to connect. However, the latency between the Aerophone GO and the phone speakers is so long that its unplayable. I tried connecting via USB, that made no difference, I don't think that the app realised that something was connected.

I like the app a lot. I use it with my Samsung Galaxy S10E and have no problem with connecting whatsoever. There is a notable delay when using it with bluetooth, therefore I use it almost always with cable. The app offers a much greater variety of sounds, and these sounds are much more realistic than the pre-installed ones. What I especially like is the range of settings you can use in the app, and the lessons. These are really great, although I dont know how to increase the speed from Slow. My only question would be if you are planning to release more lessons, I would certainly be interested in that . All in all, I am pretty happy with the app.

BIG dispppointment because of the delay and the native sound like a harmonica. It is not question about BT or USB connection, result is the same. If I had notice this beforehand, I had never purchased the Aerophone Go. There is not any similar Windows app available so I should next go to iOS? Better investment had been spending my money with AE-10.

The app doesnt work in the latest android version with smaller screens. my blackberry keyone never finds the device with usb or bluetooth through the app, i can pair it outside the app and use the aerophone as speaker but inside it never appears in the midi device list. edit: found a workaround for usb. enable developer settings on phone by tapping on the build number a few times, then in developer menu change the usb mode to always MTP, and disable usb debugging if its enabled.
