About this app

ArchiveIT: A Mobile Application Storage for the Thesis & Capstone Projects is introduced to help people access thesis abstracts and capstone projects by various institutions giving the authors the opportunity to be cited as legitimate authors.

In ArchiveIT, the user can browse thesis abstracts of the students from any institution. They can create an account and can use the application. The user can upload the files and the admin can verify the uploaded files. The user can also browse the categories of different fields. The platform that will be used is Android Version 5.1 and up.

The researchers came up with the study entitled, “ArchiveIT: A Mobile Application Storage for Thesis and Capstone Projects” to fully publicize to all the students that are doing their thesis and capstone projects and for the researchers who are doing their research, the title, the authors’ information, the date published, and how reliable it is because it’s through a mobile application.

Books experienced a difficult reading process that was usually characterized by fact-checking and detailed editing before they were published. After printing, they were then filed in the library according to an obscure filing method known as the ‘Dewey Decimal Classification System’. All of this made the act of research time-consuming and extremely troublesome. Contrast that to how research is often carried out today. By a couple of clicks, users can have at least a brief set of crowd-sourced facts at their clearance via Wikipedia or other similar sites. Through ArchiveIT, the user can browse researches anywhere and anytime if they are connected to the internet.
