About this app

Memorize by writing!

KaKioku helps memorize by handwriting.
Often, for some kind of information, the best way to memorize it is by handwriting.
For example, chemical structures, spelling, and verb conjugations are hard to memorize just by watching.

KaKioku (Kaku+Kioku, "handwriting" and "memorize" in Japanese) is a flashcard-like app, but for handwriting only.
The card is a free-hand writing image. So you can create any type of card as you want.

The stored format for a deck is just plain png and text (progress data) files.
You can share deck data and progress data by any folder-sync app you want (I use Autosync for Google Drive, which I can recommend).
