This app is an exceptionally helpful tool for memorising bible verses and chunks. It allows you to read phrases and then conceal them so you can have a go at saying each phrase as you work your way through. If you're struggling with where to start, John has compiled a list by topic of great passages to meditate on. If you want to go deeper into Gods word this is a great app to download!

I've really enjoyed using this app so far. I'm quite new to seriously trying to memorise Scripture, and found it more difficult myself before finding this. The font used has also been great to aid memorisation. It's been so helpful to have it in app form, and a much better way of using my time when waiting on my train than social media! Thank you for making this!

I've found this app incredibly helpful for memorising God's Word over the years, some of my friends have even memorised entire books with it. This new version with an updated interface is better than ever.

About this app

The Christian life is a battle. Often it can feel like a continuous struggle against doubt, temptation and anxieties. But God hasn’t left us defenseless; he’s given us a powerful weapon so we can fight back against the Devil’s schemes. The armor of God starts and ends with the belt of truth and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:14-17).

"The joy-producing effects of memorizing Scripture and having it in my head and heart are incalculable. The world and its God-ignoring, all-embracing secularism is pervasive. It invades my mind every day. What hope is there to have a mind filled with Christ except to have a mind filled with his Word? I know of no alternative." John Piper, When I Don't Desire God, page 120.

So, we’ve made a free mobile app to help you store up God's word in your heart. By breaking down verses into smaller chunks and allowing you to reveal them piece-by-piece, memorization comes quicker. We’ve also used a font called Sans Forgetica - designed using the principles of cognitive psychology to help you remember what you’ve read.
