Works Exceptionally Well! The 6 months I've owned this app is has identified every bug I've took a picture of except one. Thats a pretty good record! It saves every bug you want to keep in the library. Awesome app!

Without naming all the insects it doesn't correctly identify, it does a good job with wasps, Hornets, and bees. That's all. I do not think this app is currently worth $4.99. It should be free until it has the accuracy of say the Picturethis app for plants. I am a pest control tech. I thought it would help with quick on site identification, it's very seldom accurate. And cannot identify ants correctly at all. Or most bloode sucking insects. I would like my money back.

I don't why people are saying this App doesn't work. every insect I have photographed it has gotten it correct and with accurate information. maybe they are using it wrong. I'm a Certified Nurseryman and I have done a lot of IPM studies. I recommend this app.

While the accuracy is decent when taking a photo of the insect, any time I try to import a photo on my Samsung Galaxy s10 the app crashes and will not allow the import. Still love the app, but that's rather frustrating.

Update: was a 5 star app. No more! Doesn't do anything anymore. I always get a message saying the image will save and bug will be identified later. A few months later, none saved and none are being identified. Always down. Sad I spent money on this!

The idea is fun and the potential is enormous. Frustratingly, it hasn't worked even once, has crashed repeatedly, and has used a ton of data in the process.
