About this app

The Mobile App “Pashuon me Parjeevi Niyantran” has been developed in “Hindi language” by the team of Scientists/ Subject Matter Specialist of Indian Veterinary Research Institute- Izatnagar. This App will provide basic knowledge and create awareness on the various aspects of parasitic diseases infecting/infesting large ruminants in India. Target groups of this “Mobile App” are different stakeholder’s viz. livestock owners, progressive farmers and dairy entrepreneurs, besides graduating veterinary students and field veterinary officers for whom it will be a ready reckoner in diagnosis, treatment and control of parasitic diseases. Aspects covered in the App includes a brief account on both internal and external parasites, their broad types, life cycle requirement, source of infection to the animals, course of disease per se, major symptoms, diagnosis, treatment and control along with very specific comments, if any for the particular drug. The original pictures incorporated for specific diseases will be proved beneficial to the Veterinary Officers colleagues, in correlating their observations recorded while working with an animal. Besides, a suitable deworming schedule has been also included in the App to suit animals of almost all agro-climatic zones of India. This application will work for android API version 15 to 27 i.e. it can work properly for Android Jelly Bean user to Android Oreo users.
