Menjadi pelajaran yang diajarkan di madrasah-madrasah dan pondok-pondok pesantren karena berisikan dasar-dasar pembelajaran agama islam tingkat dasar berdasarkan Al-Qur`an dan As-Sunnah, kitab aslinya adalah At-Targhib Wa-Tarhib, namun kemudian muncul dan viral di dunia maya Shahih Targhib wa Tarhib yang banyak menghapus atau membuang hal yang dianggap salah secara sepihak tanpa mencari perbandingan pendapat ulama lain.
