India, the largest constitutional democracy of billion+ people, is going through uprecedented challenges in 2019.

In the last 56 months of rule in India by the Government led by Mr. Narendra Modi, India has witneseed a clear move towards fascist tendencies pushed through by the right wing forces. If re-elected to power in 2019, it is highly likely that we will not continue to have the India we have loved and known since indepdendence with our Constitution which proclaims:

"WE, THE PEOPLE OF INDIA, having solemnly resolved to constitute India into a
SOVEREIGN SOCIALIST SECULAR DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC
and to secure to all its citizens
JUSTICE, social, economic and political;
LIBERTY of thought, expression, belief, faith and worship;
EQUALITY of status and of opportunity; and to promote among them all
FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity and integrity of the Nation;
IN OUR CONSTITUENT ASSEMBLY this 26th day of November, 1949,
do HEREBY ADOPT, ENACT AND GIVE TO OURSELVES THIS CONSTITUTION."

IAMSAVEINDI19 is building a movement of people at large both in India and Outside against communalism, dictatorship, suppression of freedom of speech and any and all forms of violation of Indian Constitution, the biggest challengeS faced by Indian society since independence. Through this movement, we are working to empower local communities in India and the world at large to take a definitive position against all the wrong things that have happened and is happening in India since the Government led by Mr. Narendra Modi came to power in the Indian Parliament Elections in 2014. We're an open platform because we believe such positive message comes through when people with different backgrounds and perspectives can participate in the conversation.
