This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Castiglione’s Virtual Flowers on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

Would you like to take home an exquisite painting of a flower and vase by Castiglione? Well, you can! Simply download this app and get a custom made table mat from the National Palace Museum (NPM) in Taipei.

Open the app and hold your mobile device against the table mat, and see 3D illusions. Castiglione’s masterpieces come to life on your mobile device.

The app and table mat together make for a very special memento from the “Giuseppe Castiglione－Lang Shining New Media Art Exhibition” at NPM from 6 October.

One of the exhibits, Castiglione’s Virtual Flowers, brings to life Castiglione still-life masterpieces Assembled Auspiciousness and Vase of Flowers as virtual 3D illusions.

This exhibit was conceived by Professor Jeffrey Shaw of City University of Hong Kong in the spirit of his pioneering 1995 artwork The Golden Calf.
