I was able to connect to video chat website and i could see myself and hear the message. Now im set for video appointments. This app should be advertised to all veterans so they can do the same. Oh, i didnt have to use the internet either, just the phone data.

Unable to login using MHV credentials. Seems to be a fancy way to access same functions as MHVet site.

What's so bad about it? It takes you to the VA services you actually want! I like it and it works for me. By the way not everyone is that tech savy. At leasr it is very user friendly, easy to understand and it works in its full form.

It shouldn't have been released or advertised as is. Anyone that can download an app can already do what it already does: it bookmarks useful pages. If I could log in and do all of the mobile options from MyHealtheVet it'd be great, if it didn't just point to apps that don't even exist (chat, Annie, etc.) then it'd be useful. It is, therefore, not useful. Who at the VA is getting conned into paying for this?

Need clearer description in VA apps if they are informational only or transactional. like focus on online scheduling or HCP communication that could be more efficient, save money and help Veterans.

it is useful in that it consolidates the various links for the VA in one place, but it really isn't anything more than that; it doesn't add more functionality than just independently visiting the links in your browser. When clicked, those links just open in a browser. The VA needs to modernize and streamline its disparate structure and employ developers to create more immersive native apps, like myChart.

About this app

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Launchpad helps Veterans and their Caregivers find and use VA apps. The VA Launchpad organizes VA apps and capabilities to help you more easily find the tools VA has made available for you. Links to new apps automatically appear in the VA Launchpad when they become available, making it simpler to find the resources needed to interact with VA. You can also provide feedback directly to VA within VA Launchpad. With VA Launchpad, VA intends to help you discover and integrate available VA apps into your life.

Both native app and web app links are accessible in the VA Launchpad. Native apps are available for download through the Apple App Store or Google Play. Once you download a native app, you can open it directly from your device or from the VA Launchpad. Web apps will open and run in your device’s browser.

Apps you open from the VA Launchpad that access your Electronic Health Record (EHR) will require you to log in. These apps have a padlock symbol to indicate that credentials are required.

With VA Launchpad, you can access apps within these categories:
- Manage my health
- Communicate with my care team
- Share my vital health information with my care team
- Improve my mental health
- Improve my life
