Haven't bought anything yet! But I can see from the website that the prices are much cheaper than APMEX where I have bought well over $100,000 in coins and some bars in the last 8yrs ever since I got my money from losing my arm at work! To many fees with APMEX that I still never made a profit yet! When I first started buying gold was around $18-$1900oz. Silver was in the hi $40 range and platinum was around the $2000 area. So now I'm just holding everything hoping for the dollar to fall and metal prices to rise!!!

Feels smooth but haven't tried to purchase anything through it yet. Finding many reviews very entertaining-Jimmy Dee are you reviewing the app or the Mint itself? Certain Items sell out fast - you just need to be ready. Example: The AMERICAN LIBERTY SILVER MEDAL yest. sold out in 6 min but I logged in at noon & ordered no problem. You mentioned using dealers, eBay, or coin collectors instead but why would I want to pay 100$+ instead of 34.95$? For the rich huh - The Mints not perfect but it's the Gov't ;)

Wont let me purchase. Says I need to please accept terms and conditions yet no where on screen is there anyway of accepting that I have found.

This app kinda sucks compared to many others by much smaller concerns. You would think that the folks who make our money would pay a little more for an up to date app. Hozabout a speech engine for starters. And the home screen really blows. Even after customization it looks.....unfinished. This app is definitely due for a touch up.

I hate it, only for the rich, believe me, they had a special offer of a release new coin, I was told that within 30 minutes they will sell out, try within 2 minutes! what a joke, stay away from United State Mint if you are collector you do better in eBay or a coin collector, or a coin dealer. Besides this , Whatever United States Mint sales you can get it anywhere! Oh by the way forget about customer service! in moments like that you cannot even reach them haha.

I have bought gold, silver and coin sets. It is a simple process of checking out and shipping is fast. The only thing is that when certain coins come out, you better be quick with your purchase because they sell out fast...
