When I initially installed this app at least a year ago, I used to get the pertinent notifications. However, several months ago, I stopped receiving the notifications, and I see that another reviewer had already informed the City about the problematic app. Yet the City STILL hasn't remedied the problem! Now look- it's an unusually windy weekend, with alarming effects (trees falling falling on people, cars!) and we don't have any of the notifications 🤷.

very helpful with road conditions, severe weather, and even brown water advisories and jellyfish warnings. worth having.

Adding a notification channel that can't be turned off is controlling and spammy. Let the user decide for what they do and do not want to be interrupted. The first time you use that subscription for some non-emergency BS this app is going in the trash.

At first the push notifications appeared and I was satisfied. All of a sudden they stopped appearing and none of my phone and app settings have changed; they are all set to receive notifications. I also have to open the app to see what alerts have been posted (inefficient and defeats the purpose of the app). I have contacted the app developers via the app but have gotten no response and months later, the issue is still not resolved. Battery optimization does not work even though it did earlier.

This app is absolutely useless!! There's a category 5 hurricane 550 miles from Oahu and I have not received one notice or update about it's path. Apparently you gave to open the app to see notifications. Crazy stupid!!

Really inefficient design. Designers put a giant picture, taking up more than 3/4th the app menu rather than bigger buttons.
