नेपाल सरकारले नेपालको संविधान, २०७२ बमोजिम स्थानीय निकायहरुको पुनःसंरचनाको लागि गठन गरेको उच्चस्तरीय आयोगको २०७३ पुष २२ गतेकोप्रतिवेदनलाई आधार लिई मिति २०७३ फागुन २७ गतेबाट स्थानीय तह लागू गर्ने निर्णयगरेको हो । जस अनुसार मध्यमाञ्चल विकास क्षेत्र अन्तर्गत साविक जनकपुर अञ्चलको मध्य भागमा अवस्थित सिन्धुली जिल्लाको ५० वटा गाविस मध्ये डुडभञ्ज्याङ्ग, वितिजोर, भुवनेश्वरी, तिनकन्या, रतनचुरा, बाशेश्वर र भिमेश्वर गाविसहरुलाई समायोजन गरी७ वटा वडा कायम गरी गोलन्जोरगार्उँपालिका गठन भएको हो । राष्ट्रिय जनगणना, २०६८ अनुसारयस गाउँपालिकाको कुल जनसंख्या १९३२९ रहेको छ । कुल जनसंख्या मध्ये पुरुषको जनसंख्या ९४०० र महिलाको जनसंख्या ९९२९ रहेको छ भने घरधुरी संख्या ३६८१रहेको छ । यस गोलन्जोर गाउँपालिकाको केन्द्र साबिक भुबनेश्वरी गाबिसहाल गोलन्जोर गाउँपालिका वडा नं. ३ ग्वाल्टारमा रहेको छ ।
यस गाउँपालिकाको नाम यसै क्षेत्रको प्रसिद्ध पर्यटकीय भूगोललाई आधार लिई गोलन्जोर नामाकरण गरिएकोे हो । साविकका गाविसहरु बाशेश्वर, रतनचुरा र तीनकन्याको बीच भागमा गोलन्जोर डाँडो अवस्थित रहेको र यस डाँडाको टुप्पोवाट तीनवटा साविक गाविस बाशेश्वर, रतनचुरा र तीनकन्य सबै देखिने हुनाले यस गाउँपालिकाको नाम यसै गोलन्जोर डाँडाको नामवाट नामाकरण गरिएको हो । यस गोलन्जोर डाँडो आफैंमा प्राकृतिक रुपमा नै भ्यु टावरको रुपमा अवस्थित छ जुन पर्यटकहरुको आकर्षणको केन्द्र रहेको छ । यस गोलन्जोर डाँडोमा भ्यु टावर निर्माण गरी यस क्षेत्रलाई पर्यटकीय क्षेत्रको रुपमा विकास गरी जनताको आय आर्जनमा बृद्धि गर्ने, गाउँपालिकाको दिगो स्रोत जुटाउने र यस गोलन्जोर क्षेत्रलाई संसार भर चिनाउने पवित्र लक्ष्य साथ यस आ.व. २०७४।०७५ को बजेट तथा कार्यक्रममा गोलन्जोर डाँडोमा भ्यु टावर निर्माण गर्ने योजना समेटिएको छ । यस कार्यक्रमलाई प्रभावकारी रुपमा सम्पन्न गरी यसको संचालनमा सबैको सहयोग मिल्नेमा हामी आशावादी छौं ।
