About this app

This app pulls information from government websites and displays suspected fires across the United States and Mexico. Most of the fires displayed are detected by satellite. Each satellite fire displayed represents a fire that is SMALLER than 1 square mile. The app also display larger groups of wildfires and forest fires called fire complexes which are named.

All fires shown are sorted by distance from you. The date, time, and the probability of whether the fire is real are displayed. The fire complexes show the current number of acres burned. You have the option of having the app automatically update. You can also select how many hours back in time you wish to display fires.

The developer of this app is not responsible for the data or lack of data displayed or how it is used. This app is purely for entertainment purposes.
