This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Decay Energy Calculator on PC Windows and Mac.

It will calculate Decay Energy and predict whether isotope of element that you entered is stable or not,
predict whether isotope of element is radioactive or is not radioactive,
and show allowed and prohibited decay modes.

You can enter shortcut name of element, or full name of element, and mass number (A).
or
you can enter proton quantity (Z) and mass number (A).

Application will look up isotope in built-in database,
and will calculate and show result in the real-time.

In the settings,
you can turn on/off displaying full names of element or just shortcut.
You can turn on/off displaying the all decay modes or just allowed decay modes.
If prohibited decay mode is displayed, there is mentioned reason why it is prohibited.
