Cuts out and just plain stops frequently. My Galaxy device can run other apps, just not this one. WUNC app on my iPad is great, but carrying a tablet is not always practical.

This used to be a great app for listening to WUNC, but sometime in the past couple of months, it has become so kludgy that it has become impossible to listen to. Maximum frustration, because I like the station, but it will only stream while my phone is completely "on" -- does not continue when the display sleeps. Bad news, and bad business!

My go to NPR station. Even though based in Raleigh, they cover just about every section of NC well. Pretty much listen to it all the time wether driving or at home. I often travel to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach area and listen to the Tidewater area NPR station there. While another good station, WUNC is a notch or two above. Much kudos to WUNC!

You only get about 2 mins of audio after the screen turns off. Sometimes reconnecting means listening to the sponsorship message over again. It simply cant be used without constant maintenance. This is on android.

About a year ago, my wife and I moved back to Durham. I've enjoyed listening to WUNC's programming, usually through the WUNC app on my android phone. Its key feature for me was the reliability of its connection to WUNC's programming. A month or so ago, it started dropping the connections. Sometime, when it stopped streaming, it appeared the app was having some kind of a data connectivity problem (it would show the pause icon and would recover while I watched). Usually, by the time I brought the app to the front, I would see the Play icon and would need to click the play icon to resume streaming. This might happen every hour or so. I have found that if I open the WUNC web site with the phone's browser and click Listen Live, I get reliable connections again and it streams until I stop it. I also get reliable connections it I use the the browser on my PC laptop.

Many drops in the stream. When streaming the WUNC radio there are lots of times when the sound stops and, seconds later, it will pick up again.
