Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing MountieAPP on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

MountieAPP, the official Mt. SAC mobile application, provides you with faculty and staff contact information, a campus map with a list of buildings, college events, campus news, student grades, daily class schedule, registration hold information, and access to an electronic copy of the course catalog. On campus or on the go, access all-things Mt. SAC wherever you are 24/7 from your mobile devices.

New features

The Mt. SAC mobile app interface is entirely new and designed to mirror the look and feel of the browser version of the portal. Information in this new version is organized into cards. Different cards are visible depending on your role. The arrangement of the cards is customizable to meet each user’s needs, as the most frequently used cards can be moved to appear first when the app is loaded.
