Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TeamSparX™ on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

TeamSparX™ is a demo for a brand new platform created at Florida Atlantic University for students and faculty members to make it easier for you to find and collaborate with people across four campuses.

Select your research interests and search through projects that we think you may be interested in. We are sure you will find something exciting.

Inside of the app, set up your profile, add a resume and start looking for projects! We made it possible for you to send applications directly to the app. For that, open the project details, fill out the motivation box and send! The project manager will be notified right away, and you will know about their decision as soon as it's available.

If you are a project manager and would like to add your research to Research Hub - we got you covered! Hit the "+" button under the "Projects" tab and fill out all the required information. Other members of the platform with interest in the tags that you specify will be notified as soon as you post your idea.

Finally, we made it possible to find funding directly in the app. For that, go to the "Funding" tab. We often update this page, so make sure you check it out.

If you would like to find someone on the platform (e.g., your advisor or a student) - we have smart search! Type in their name, or a project title and scroll through our search results.

We hope you will like our app! We genuinely believe in the unlimited potential of students and will keep updating TeamSparX™ to make it easier for you to excel in your research!
