Hazrat Usman Ghani ki Life:
Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A) belonged to the honorable family of Quraish and he was the third Caliph of Islam. He is famous due to his generosity and piousness. Hazrat Usman (R.A) was more educated at the time when the literacy rate was very low in Makah. He use to do business of clothing in starting and became very rich. For Islam, his services are unforgettable. He spent his wealth for the sake of ALLAH and also helped many human. Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A) accepted Islam in the early ages and this turned his well-wishers against him. When life became difficult in Makah then Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A) went to Muhammad (S.A.W) and pursued approval for his migration. He got permission for going Madina with his beloved wife (“Hazrat Ruqaya” the daughter of the Prophet (S.A.W)) and other relatives. He was the first Muslim who had migrated to hudebiya.
Hazrat Usman’s title of “Dhun-Nurain:
He didn’t participated in Ghazwa e Badr because his wife got very ill. Despite his utmost efforts his wife died During the Battle of Badr. Because of his sorrow Muhammad (S.A.W) also married his second daughter to Hazrat Usman (R.A). That’s why he got the title of”Dhun Naurain” that means the man with two lights. He served almost all the battles after the battle of badr, along with the Prophet (S.A.W). He lived a very simple life and served the public in a very nice manner.
Rebuilding of "Masjid-e-Nabwi":
“When the number of Muslims increased in Madina, the people could not accommodate in (Masjid Nabvi). It was a very serious condition. At that time, Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A) responded and bought a land for the extension of Masjid e Nabvi. This was not the only incident of kindness, his whole life was a masterpiece of simplicity, kindness, and intelligence.
Caliphate of Hazrat Usman Ghani:
During the Caliphate of Hazrat Usman (R.A) Muslims conquered the areas of Antalya, Samara land, Tabrastan etc. Yet he spent a very simple life. He donated his money and goods for the spending’s of Ghazwat whenever the need of additional goods was required. First half of his caliphate was peaceful and Muslim conquered many battles. Another most beautiful work of Hazrat Usman (R.A) for the sake of Islam is the arrangement of The Quran. He made many great reforms in economic, administrational matters during his leadership.
During all these efforts for the betterment of the Religion, few Quraish families got against the leadership of Hazrat Usman (R.A). The main reason behind this is the wrong doings of some Jews to degrade Islamic teaching. He faced a civil war condition, were many Muslims want Hazrat Ali (R.A) to be the caliph of them, this conspiracy of some wrong believers went out of hands and led to the death of Hazrat Usman Ghani (R.A).
