Look for a dragon to tame and then watch as it grows to become your most powerful pet which will protect you no matter what danger lies ahead. Even though you can’t ride them they are still one of the most epic and powerful mobs you will ever find in Minecraft PE.

Wild Dragons
Dragons replace bats and can be found spawning in caves. Even though most of them spawn as passive creatures (meaning, they won’t attack you) there’s always a 17% chance that a hostile dragon can spawn.

Taming
In this case, I found small dragon. You can use any type of cooked meat to tame a dragon. Heart particles will appear if you successfully tamed it.

A dragon will only protect its owner once it has grown to stage 4. Mature dragons have a special appetite for sheep. If they see one you can be sure that they will soon be preparing their dinner! After a long adventure tie it to a fence post and feed it some cooked meat to heal it. (It doesn’t have to be tied to a fence post but this makes it easier.)

The ender dragon is being added as one of the new features in 0.17.0 of Minecraft. This is an addon which makes it possible to ride and control the ender dragon. Even though the driving functionalities are not perfect it’s still entirely possible to ride and to some degree control it.

How to control the dragon?
To control the dragon you will need two items. Keep in mind that this addon is still in its early stages of development.

Sword: You can use the sword to control in which direction you want the dragon to go. It’s not 100% accurate so you will need to shift to a different item or an empty slot sometimes. This will stop the dragon from going all crazy.

The Dragon Mounts Mod adds 7 dragons to Minecraft PE. Each dragon must first be hatched using dragon eggs and once they have grown to their full sizes all of them can be ridden and used as flying mounts. Not only do they look very epic but they are also proven to be a very neat addition for quicker traveling in Minecraft.

Hatching a Dragon Egg
The first thing which we recommend you to do is to build a fenced area which can be used for hatching a dragon egg.

Tap on the empty egg with either of the following items to turn the egg into the type of dragon you want to hatch.

Blaze Rod (369) or Blaze Powder (377) = Blaze Dragon
Bucket (325) = Ocean Dragon
Feather (288) = Cloud Dragon
Obsidian (49) = End Dragon
Oak Sapling (6), Oak Leaves (18), Vines (106) or Dead Shrub (31) = Jungle Dragon
Moss Stone (48) = Anfisbaena Dragon
Diamond (264) = Diamond Dragon

Riding the Dragon
Step up to the dragon and then tap on its back using an empty slot to ride it. Aim in the direction which you want to fly.
