Main problem is the clumsy interface. Cluttered background and unreadably small text for the important stuff. Game play also has a lot of room for improvement. I wish there were a better financial model driving improvements, but that's a sad old song, isn't it? I wish the author would tell us how much time he spent programming it, and explain which features he could add, how long they would take him, and see if enough people will donate to support certain features... As a pedagogical priority, a game with Japanese definitions would be my #1 priority, but more useful words would come close...

I'm a student who is doing Japanese for my higher studies at the high school. I searched for a good android app to learn Japanese and I found this powerful and handy app. This is very easy to use and the best thing is it is free. I think it is very useful for the people who are not native speakers. By using this, it doesn't take long to get used to the Japanese system. English equivalents provided are far more useful and contemporary. Also it is a very useful tool since it pronounces each Hiragana/Katakana syllable when we tap on it. Finally I would like to say it is a great translator and as well as a great game. I think everyone should own one.

Love this tiny app a lot. Learned many Japanese words within last few days and didn't get bored because of its clear pronunciations and nice pictures of samurai. Runs smoothly on my galaxy S3 and GUI is quite nice and enjoyable. App offers three types of exercise with French and German translation. I thought to buy Seppukuman Gold because I love French also. As a suggestion I would like to ask from developers to provide a link to download database manually. Then we can keep it for future installation without any additional cost. Also please make the fonts bit larger.
