There are too many notifications that I don't care about, even with the setting for "only important messages". I'm switching to "eilmeldungen only". But I would like it if I could choose for which topics I would be notified, like I have seen in other European news apps.

Well, it's easy! It's at the moment one of the rare newspapers with a few critical, or neutral or investigative journalists and articles. That's their job, I am fed up with the conforming mainstream journalism . I wish it would be more.

Unfortunately, this app quickly times out on slow mobile internet connections such as Edge. Everything else is nice. Finally we have a dark mode!

It's not the app, it's the magazine itself and journalism nowadays in Germany, mainstream rubbish that's hoping to get the leftovers of taxpayer money. Not worth the fee, get audible and live a happy life.
