Really enjoyed the app, don't really think it really represents my real iq, otherwise i would be a genius, and im not LOL. Apart form that is has only 1 add in the middle of the test and it stops your momentum a little bit but its not that bad.

First try I score 90, it's ok but somethings dont make no sense. I try again then score 95. It's weird.

Iinterrupting the test with ads is nasty testing practice,. You're breaking the testee's concentration. I would have given 5 stars otherwise. I scored in the super-genius range, so of course the test is accurate! 🤣🤪😁 These tests are definitely biased toward visual learners; I'd be interested to fi d one that tests language and verbal skills. Those are a lot harder to make class and culture neutral

I figure the first run is the only one that counts. So I only planned on doing it the one time to get the most relevant, or "honest" results. The test was pretty cool. It felt intelligent, progressive, and challenging. Only took it the one time, and for the record; here's my results. 47 out 0f 60 correct So 78% in approx 22 min IQ 116 Fun stuff. I am curious how my buddies will fare.

I think it's pretty good. Other than the annoying ads that pop in the middle of testing it's a pretty straightforward app. I took my first run sleepy and scored lower than I would have liked to, plus I rushed and still had 15min I could've used. I'll definitely try it again!

Great app! It's free, doesn't test language or general knowledge, has enough questions to infer iq with reasonable precision and it's questions are well structured - unambiguous and with enough answers to discourage guessing. I would assume it overshoots your actuall iq by a bit, since it only has a handfull of somewhat complex questions, but that's to be expected on a popular free test.

About this app

What does this test measure?

This test is motivated by Raven's progressive matrices that got their name according to their creator John C. Raven, who developed them in 1936 as a non-verbal test of abstract thinking.
It is a ‘culture fair’ multiple choice IQ test, that measures your fluid intelligence (Gf) – your reasoning and problem solving ability. Fluid intelligence is a core component of (g) – your general intelligence.
This test tests the understanding of the complexity of patterns, the ability to store and retrieve information. It provides insight into the ability to observe, solve problems and learn.
The test measures only a subset of intellectual abilities. Based on this, valid conclusions can not be drawn about the overall intelligence of the person, the results are approximate.

How does it work?

The test consists of 54 questions which in turn are gradually more complex. Respondents choose geometric shapes to properly complete larger images.
The result of the test is determined by the number of correct answers and the age of the respondent. However, the final score is not linearly related to the number of correct answers.
The evaluation of the test is based on a study of a large sample of anonymous results of users of the app in different age categories and is continuously refined.
The results are distributed on the so-called Gaussian curve into several percentile intervals on an overall scale from 0 to 160 intelligence quotient points, with the majority of the population according to the Gaussian curve (i.e. over 50%) corresponds to IQ values between 90 and 110.

Advantages and Disadvantages

• The advantage of the test is its non-verbal nature, which avoids cultural and linguistic discrepancies.
• The disadvantage of the test is that repeating it may improve the result.
