About this app

The app, “Pan y Vino” is designed to help our children in their preparation to receive the Holy Sacrament of the Eucharist, specifically, the First Communion. The process is simple in nature and is oriented to obtain supernatural merits. All through an interactive and fun way.

How does “Pan y Vino” work?
As a base for the application we have the Year of Mercy, given by Pope Francis, we have created a network for spiritual interchanges. Those which you refer to the app can donate Corporal Works as well as Spiritual Works deigned to benefit your child. You can also help others in their preparation in the same manner. To each Work of Mercy, we have assigned a point value.

When someone performs a Work of Mercy for a child, the value of points for this work will be assigned to the child and accumulated in their points. The process is completely anonymous, there is no identification of the person who performed the Work of Mercy, nor the Work of Mercy performed. This will stay between them and God! Your child with receive the supernatural benefits of the Works of Mercy donated.

The motivation of this project is simple, others are praying for your child and you can do great works for others.

MORE POINTS = MORE PEOPLE ARE INCREASING THE COMMUNION OF THE SAINTS

After you download the application, you can add those who will be preparing for their First Communion, once added, you can invite others by sharing a web link through Facebook, Twitter, SMS, iMessage, Email, What's App and many others.

When a user (with whom you have shared the link) click on the link, they will first download the application, and then add your child to their account as a destination for donations. When they open the application, they will be presented with a list of Corporal and Spiritual Works which can be completed (including information regarding each one along with the corresponding biblical scripture) and then donated to your child. As they are completed, you will be notified and your account will be updated with the amount of points which correspond to the Works or Mercy donated to your child. You also have access to see the complete history of the points donated.
