About this app

Team Shotej is working to create a platform for village artisans and farmers through mobile application and connecting city buyers with them. Our areas of focus are connecting village artisans with city buyers and reduce food adulteration in Bangladesh. There are around 1,00,000 artisans working in different villages like potters, brass workers, jewelers, jute workers, basket weavers, handloom and silk weavers, wood carvers and leather workers and embroiders etc. They made excellent products at lowest cost but city buyers usually purchase this at a very high cost for some reason which is almost similar to foreign imported products. So city buyers usually choose foreign imported products. Through our platform we will reduce the price of local art and craft products by directly purchasing from village artisans and with the help of good designers, we will help artisans to develop modern and innovative artistic products. We are also collaborating with Startups which are working on organic fruits, vegetables and products. Fruit and food adulteration is another big problem in Bangladesh. We are also working to solve this problem.
