It'd be great if it worked and was advertised. I think this app's main problem is that not that many people know about it so ultimately it's just contributing to the problem it's trying to solve. I live in Colorado and it's not that there's a lack of people caring, it's just that we don't know about these things. I thought this was great when I ran upon it on Instagram, but I haven't found a single place within Colorado that actually offers anything. Maybe I'm just using it wrong, I don't know.

Unable to do anything unless you register first. I expect user should be able to browse before having to enter personal data. This app sounds fishy.

Awesome app. What not to love when you can get great deals while at the same time help local businesses reduce food waste! Also nice way to map out businesses around you who care about community and environment. The other day I got $15 worth of artisan bread for $5, and this deal runs pretty much everyday. Feeling proud and fancy ahah. I get that our Local is not available everywhere but I bet the more people download the more they'll expand. I'd recommend it :)

Recommended. There is nothing to lose downloading it. You open the map, and find mostly end of day offers from participating establishments, and can choose based on location and offerings They are all at a good discount, with a variety of different types of foods available.

Only seems to be in Brooklyn. You have to create a user ID to see absolutely nothing available. Nothing showed in San Antonio, Atlanta or Los Angeles, then I read their story and they say they span from Copenhagen to Brooklyn. That's it. This should not be listed like it has anything anywhere outside NYC in the US. Major waste of time and bandwidth to download.

This App is not "Local" because every store is far away in Williamsburg or Lower Manhattan. If you live anywhere else in NYC then the long commute to the shop is not worth the discount. And most of the shops are overpriced pastry shops offering the same things such as bagels and donuts. The people running this company are nice people, but they don't have a clue on how to run a business. Get up off your loins and sign up MORE shops, in a WIDER area, with a WIDER variety of food.
