App won't connect if I deny location permission. Older versions did l not used to be like this, it has changed in the last year or two. Now I struggled endlessly to connect to Yamaha ATS-1080 (similar to 108) until I read other reviews mentioning it. I had to grant location permission while app is in use. Absolutely unnecessary!

Works fine with the yas-107. Wish it remembered the mode you set it yo, as soon as you use the remote to switch from 3d to surround it defaults back to movie mode. Would appreciate an equaliser.

I can control my 1080 soundbar from upstairs-- turn it on, off, hear it change tone, volume, etc. I like the additional settings. It does NOT require location as one reviewer wrote, only bluetooth for pairing. There is a different app 4 the more expensive soundbars-- search Yamaha in Google play and read the details!

Doesn't work. Stuck in demo mode. I have an ATS 1080, but that doesn't matter because this app doesn't work in the first place.

It does the job. But by today's standards it's slow to start up. It times out your speakers so that's actually good

I was able to get the app to work with the ats 108, but I also have an ats 2070 and it will not work at all with that soundbar. I tried the suggested settings listed in "RED" from the play store instructions. I also tried every other combination of settings and it will not work. It's a shame because the app has sound modes that you can't access on the remote. I hope Yamaha gets this straightened out. This should not be very difficult to resolve. Grab a few of your devs and get this fixed! The app hasn't been updated since September... Here we are on Nov 26th and still, NOTHING!
