I've tried half a dozen news aggregators since Google News became more movie theatre than newspaper. This one's simple and easy to use, it has an intuitive interface, and it doesn't try to make me watch video instead of read. I don't see anything wrong or suspicious regarding data usage or permissions. I wish there were more good news, but I don't think the dev is at fault there ๐

The only problem I have With this app is that it proposes articles from sources that require that you subscribe to read them. Half of the articles that I open quickly block the page with requests for money. As a result I use this app less and less. Update: a reply to this review said that: 1) that made sure that the site wasn't blocked 2) that the sources were unbiased. My answer: 1) I will not subscribe and pay to read an article from a specific source like the NYT, when I am using an app giving me access to news from different sources. That would defeat the purpose of using the app. 2) What does this have to do with the supposed unbiasedness of the sources? This was a token reply, which does not address my points. My impression of this app is even lower than before.

This is my new "go-to" world news source. No other news app gives me such a rapid and comprehensive overview. If I want to read more, I click on the Web link. I can scan a particular geographic region, check video news, or choose Breaking News. It does the job for me!

UI is a bit naive but bearable. The two main things which makes this app awesome are that it has all the possible categories of news and seamless live streaming of well known international news channels. This app can be helpful to a range of users, from normal user to a news nerd. It can be your one stop dashboard for news.
