Takes a long time to download. Great app for wildflower references. Occasionally the app stops working, and i have to download a new copy. Try an app called leaf snap for wildflowers, that doesnt cost anything.

This is a great botanical reference for Washington state, and it's free! If you are a beginner interested in identifying wild plants, an avid amateur, or a professional botanist like myself, download this app now. It's a wonderful example of how to effectively use a database to search, sort, and organize a huge amount of data while fitting it all on a phone. The visual "key" is excellent. The photos are wonderful. The descriptions and range maps are well done.Yes, the file is large. But this allows you to access all the information offline. A superb app for the botanically curious!
