Terrible experience. This thing has to have wifi to function which is absolutely stupid. You CANNOT connect to this speaker no matter how long you wait. To top it off you have to download an app and give it God only knows what kind of permissions. It's as if this was designed to not work. Truly frustrating.

When it does connect its really good. The sound is good, and like how I can still play music over the speaker while watching a video off of my phone. The only issue I have is how long it takes to pair the two together. The speaker takes almost half a min to load and even longer for the app to try and find it. The product has potential and can be improved further, like the app maybe have two opening screens like how most apps do. Some who already have a speaker and some who don't, maybe have an option which open menu to select so your not flipping through different screens in app to try and find your speaker to pair. Since i thought once you paired it would show the dashboard for your speaker every time you opened after that but guess not. Another thing that I had an issue with was trying to play Spotify and would not find the speaker even though I was paired up. I usually stop trying to pair after a while since it seems to range from a 5 minute set up to a 10-15 minute set up if you really want to listen and have patience.

Please don't waste your money on this product. Packaging and concept look and sound great, but the app is terrible. I tried for hours to connect my speakers, and only managed it for a few minutes on Bluetooth. Really disappointing, and a total waste of my day spent trying to get a product to work through an app that has had little or no development. Read the other reviews, and dont waste your money. Fabriq - listen to your customers and fix it.

Good as a simple Bluetooth speaker hooked up to almost anything. The chorus and riff are good speakers but not so good as a Alexa alternative cause of this horrid app and the connection between it. When used as a Bluetooth speaker it's great as a small room speaker and bookshelf speaker. Alexa can still be used in the app if your smart enough to use it with your phone and even Google will work via phone or app with Bluetooth!!!

Love these Fabriq speakers. Initially set up through this app. Then I can stream music to them over wifi from any iOS device, any app. Android devices can only stream via this app. I also added them to SmartThings for home automation functions. I believe these were all possible because of the built in DLNA capability.

speaker looks great and sounds great but absolutely terrible user experience. the "alexa" is a joke compared to my actual echo dots. It will respond and say playing abc music but then go silent and not actually play anything. waste of money
