De informatie is gebaseerd op het Reglement Verkeersregels en Verkeerstekens 1990 (RVV 1990) gepubliceerd door het Ministerie van Verkeer en Waterstaat, met de laatste wijzigingen geldig vanaf januari 2021. De tekst van dit reglement is op eenvoudige wijze doorzoekbaar.
