I wanted to like this app, but it is so wrong. I let it use GPS and it said 10 common birds around me. Robin? Nope. Sparrow? Nope. Finch? Nope. None of the birds that are really around me. Instead it's "common" birds are birds I have never heard of or seen anywhere. Even TRYING to search for a Goldfinch, I can't make the app "identify" a Goldfinch. If I am using the app right, the app sucks because it can't identify. If I am using the app wrong, it's too complicated.

This is just a sample app for ibird pro. Has just a few birds, but all the features. I gave it a try just to see if I liked it before spending money on the full app. I must say I am super impressed and will be purchasing the full app today.

Learning birding and enjoying it so much. The site is great for a beginner such as myself. The illustrations and song calls help so much. Thanks!!

On starting app for first time on my Galaxy 10, Search for "Bluejay" finds Nothing. Should be a slam dunk. Uninstalled.

Only 50 birds available and 26 of them appear to be variations on hummingbirds.
