I don't seem to have the problems others are having with this. I lost the physical remote for my WD TV Live box, so this APP was very useful and works fine for me. Tip = If you lose your "proper" remote and need to set up your WD TV live box, simply plug a normal USB computer keyboard into it = it works and allows you to enter your network details etc.

Requires wifi, rather than using onboard irda (infrared, like on remotes), from device, Android has a class or function call for this, please use it? Cannot even choose device without being attached to wifi. If I have a few of these in different rooms, all on same network, I'd like each to signal different ones based on where I point my phone. I'd also like for friends/guest-networked phones to work without adding them to a more secure side of my networks where things like media shares may lay vulnerable.

It is snappy and does the job for we TV live device. One thing bugs me - cannot find subtitles option which is a must for me.

I guess it works better on ios. It works fine on my ipad and iphone but not on my android devices. Hope you can resolve this issue.

regularly cannot find media player and fails to connect. we have 2 players and only way to switch is to uninstall and reinstall app.
