During the installation, why should you access my photos, media and other files on my device? When a user doesnt even know how does this app suit them, how can you make them register and pay for the subscription?

Each of our children has a paid for account through their school, but the app will not work at home, not even on their school issued ipads (the bookshelf wont work-have to search the exact name of book -in chinese- assigned as their homework. It just crashes on my phone & computer immediately. When I have managed to login, it asks me to pay again to actually read the books already on his shelf. Two paid subscriptions wasted for us.

App opens to front page then closes or crashes. This is in Google play if it is not working on my pixel3 xl, why is even on Google play? It should be removed from the store. Spyware?

I dont know why my school want me to ise this app but,every time i go in a story,when i so call flip the page,they will keep on like put me in my home page thats very annoying.And so,i got scolded every time my teacher wanna me do my homework like read the storys on wawayaya than write down but i cant!!
