Here's a list of issues that I encountered: - the camera doesn't connect to the base unit when it's farther than 40 feet. - the base unit drops the connection to the cameras on a daily basis. - the time on the base unit and the cameras is out by an hour. - the cameras don't record most motion detections. - any recording don't show any motion in playback. - the HeimSmart app crashes frequently.

Can't view recordings from events. I just see the thumbnail for each, but when I click on Play, no matter what video I want to see, it just shows one repetitive recording from a specific hour. Tried to close the app, waited some more, still not working. I have the cloud subscription active, not the SD card. It doesn't seem to recognize human detection, only motion detection. I'm pretty disappointed 🥲

This is one of the worst written apps that i have seen. Being a programmer myself, I wouldn't have written something like this even in my college days. Even the positive flows don't work properly. The timeline is a joke. The location setting is worse and you could never find a city there. How hard is to read the time zone from my phone? Why does the app need location information to function? Why can't two people in the home use this? They can fix if they want to.

Trying the new B1 cameras and it's constantly telling me that it detects motion but there won't be a video to match. On top of this issue any video it does capture is out of order and has a random time stamp.

Edit: I finally found the "playback" feature. However, now the camera will not load. The only way to view anything is to take the SD card out. I can't even monitor current events any more. The camera is supposed to record, however all that is available is still images. The app also has an error pop up and closes the first time I open it. I can reopen seconds later and it will stay up.

Review Edit: This is possibly the worst camera and app system I have ever used. The camera disconnects from the base station daily. I have to redo the set up daily. Easy to set up, improvement needed. Features such as rotating the image 180° for those who have installed the camera to a soffit (upside down) are missing. Motion detection works, and push notifications work too.
