Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iReflect on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

About this app

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Get a Copy of 4th issue of Reflections Newsletter. Alternately you can download the pdf version into your computer from www.kustar.ac.ae/source/reflections/reflections_newsletter_issue4.pdf

2. Open page 1 and direct your smartphone on the page. You will see a video. Click on the screen to play the video.

3. Open page 4. Make sure the page comes in view on your phone’s screen. Place your finger on the hand picture by touching the physical paper and not your phone’s screen. You will notice the DNA will start moving. Touch again and it will stop.

4. Open up page 7. Now try to move your hand on the page from below the pisa tower to make it fall down.

5. Open up page 9 and watch happens.

6. Open up page 10 and if you keep trying to focus the camera on the title, you will notice the EBTIC logo appearing.

7. On page 18, there is a lego robot. You have to place your hand on the yellow square and loudly speak into your phone. When you release your hand, you will hear the robot repeat what you said. This can take several tries to work.

8. Finally on the last page (the cover page) you will find Facebook,twitter and youtube icons. Place your phone and physically click on the page (touch the paper) and the app will redirect you to that Khalifa University’s account in that social media.
