In the '80s, disco's popularity decreased, and the top 20 Hot 100 hits present a more complicated picture than it did a decade before. Not that disco completely disappeared: Diana Ross's "Upside Down," produced with the help of Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards from Chic, was a top hit, as was Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean," which remains a floor-filler to this day. Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" showed another white rock band going disco with great success.
