About this app

Banbhori (also spelt as Banbhauri) is a village in Hisar (also known as Hissar) district of Haryana province of northwestern India. The place is known for its local deity (Devi), which is worshipped by people who originally hail from around that area. There are families that have left the area generations back, and still come to worship the deity, especially after new birth and marriage in the family. Special festivities are organised at the time of Navratri.As the myth goes, the buried idols of Devi Durga and Bhairav were found together from that place.
Banbhori Dham is a holy place for all Agarwal Families. The Govt. of Haryana has recognised the Dham as a sacred place and given a autonomous power. This Dham will soon come udner the Govt. undertaking like other holy places like " Maa Vaishno Devi,Katra , Salasar Dham, Rajasthan, Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh," and many other holy places of the country. The temple is a holy place which fulfills all the wishes of her devotees and all those people who came with honest and humble request to the temple. All the "Manokamna" of all her bhakts are duly taken care by the Devi. The Temple at present is run by the local pandits. There are many Dharamsalas at Banbhori Dham where the outside people can stay and get all the necessary informations about their KUL-DEVI. This is done at a very nominal charge. The day to day necessary requirements are duly taken care by these Rest Houses. The temple is open throughout the day.
Banbhori Dham is a religious Temple where all the Agarwal families come to take the blessings of their KUL DEVI. There are not only Agarwals but all people of all caste comes to the Temple and take the blessings of the Devi.
