Who are the lovers?

When we talk about love, the first thing that comes to mind is a young couple, a man and a woman. This is our paradigm of love, however, there are many types of love and many ways to love.

Since the beginning of time, the human being has created wonders in all forms of artistic creation (sculpture, architecture, writing, painting, music, even abstract forms) thanks to love.

Do you know the history of the Taj Mahal? . Its name comes from Hindi and means Crown Palace. It is a complex of buildings built between 1631 and 1648 in the city of Agra, Uttar Pradesh state (India), on the banks of the Yamuna River, by the Muslim emperor Shah Jahan of the Mughal dynasty.

The imposing ensemble was erected in honor of his favorite wife, Arjumand Bano Begum - better known as Mumtaz Mahal - who died in childbirth with their fourteenth daughter.

It is estimated that its construction required the effort of some 20,000 workers.

Anyone could say that it is an exaggerated manifestation of his love for his wife, but surely Lord Shah Jahan would not agree. And thanks to this and his love, today we can enjoy this wonder, considered one of the greatest architectural wonders in the world.

There have also been wars in which thousands of human beings have died for love unhinged by jealousy. I invite you to read about the Trojan War, although it is a myth in Greek literature, it is a good example of the way in which love affects us either positively or negatively.
