About this app

A visit from a healthcare professional at home can cause anxiety for young people and their families. Effective communication from healthcare professionals can go some way to alleviating such feelings.

In this resource, you can explore the communication between an adolescent who has recently been self-harming, Scarlett, and visiting nurse Gordon.

You will explore various scenes through the eyes of Scarlett herself (in a 360° video/VR experience) to help understand how the communication appears from her perspective.

This app is developed as part of the "Co-creation of Virtual Reality reusable e-resources for European Healthcare Education" (CoViRR) project funded by the European Commission's Erasmus+ programme.
