About this app

Diploma in Diplomacy (DiD) is an annual programme organised by the Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR), Ministry of Foreign Affairs Malaysia. The programme is a six (6) months mandatory course for junior diplomatic officers prior to their first posting in Malaysian Missions abroad. The programme was designed to develop the skills and enhance the knowledge of the participants in diplomacy, international relations and Malaysia’s policies and interests.

The programme, which was known as Diplomatic Training Course (DTC) previously was transformed to Diploma in Diplomacy (DiD) in 2010. Since then, about 152 participants from Wisma Putra and various agencies were trained under this programme.

The Institute of Diplomacy and Foreign Relations (IDFR) is currently conducting the DiD programme for this year, which has began on 4 July 2017 and will end on 11 January 2018. The DiD programme was attended by 18 Wisma Putra officers with grade ranging from M41 to M48.
