Had to agree to a year's subscription to get the free trial. Then, I had to download their separate tuner app to use my device as a mic. The Tuner app requires account verification to work as a mic, but whenever I would try to get the two programs to talk to each other, the tuner app would repeatedly crash. I have been using RockSmith since I got it on my Xbox 360, but this is just not cool.

Terrible, there are a bunch of bands who are 1 hit wonders and that song isn't included lol. Also there are a bunch of songs that for bass are just charting so you get 1 note every 10 seconds instead of what you're supposed to play. And the phone app doesn't work well at all. It misses half the notes you def hit. I miss RS 2014 already lmfao

This game is nearly too small for me to see on my device. Note colors also need to be better, the Red can look like Orange and vice versa. Also what did you do to the Riff Repeater!? I can no longer scroll through a song, I have to instead highlight the section I want to play and restart from that section onward. It's like having to restart a video rather than just be able to navigate/scroll through it. Not worth $99yr/$15mo. It's more like a $5 a month experience

Played a few minutes with an electric guitar and amp, turned the tone all the way up as it recommended and the note detection worked fine. Had to keep the phone on my lap to see it well, the notes and numbers are really tiny. There should be a setting to zoom in more on where you're actually playing on the fret board instead of showing the whole neck of the guitar. Also, the subscription cost is really high. I might consider it if it was $5 a month. Overall, works better than expected.

The app is in need of some serious work. After playing a song, I had to force close the app several times. As for the service, it also has a ways to go before I'd recommend it. The library is rather weak considering it's subscription based now. Lots of deep cuts, but nowhere near the quality of 2012 and 2014 libraries. Why not incorporate those previous songs or at least give me access to the dlc I've purchased previously?

The functionality of the game works pretty well. I tidied around with it a bit and it was pretty good at picking up the notes. Good job, devs. I gotta say though, the menu UI is pretty rough on my phone. It's certainly usable and intuitive enough to get around but typing stuff in is a chore when my keyboard takes up over half the screen horizontally. Like, man, if I could get the menus vertically that would be great! Otherwise I think this game works better on a tablet or Chromebook.
