The June 23 update has introduced a very bad bug. When I'm watching on my Android phone, every few minutes or so, the picture jumps to the right for a split second, leaving about a . 25" margin on the left, which flashes white, then the picture jumps to the left . 25", and the margin flashes white. This occurs frequently. It's unwatchable. I'm discontinuing my $10 donation.

Actually gives free access to my local tv channels without a bombardment of interrupting ads=brilliant! The only negative is that I can't cast the feed to my TV for a larger image. Nonetheless, it's a great app for budget minded cord cutters (including streaming services that are increasingly becoming as expensive as cable/satellite providers). Saving close to $90 a month while still having my local channels feels liberating!!

If $5.50 a month is too much for tons of local channels then you need to watch less TV and get a better job. This app is brilliant. I noticed the bad reviews are from people that want the service for free. Bandwidth cost money and the price is fair. If they go any higher I wish definitely cancel but as long as they keep the current minimum I will subscribe for a very long time.

I have been an app developer for 23 years. Locast is a great ideal with greedy intentions. They claim to be a bleeding heart solution for those who can't get cable or OTA TV - like myself. I really only need local weather for safety. Plenty of other free internet options exist for entertainment. They claim to let you try for free, but EVERY TIME my local weather comes on, Locast breaks in wanting a donation, then drops you back to the guide for you to select your channel again. Then, it performs yet another donation request. By the time all this is over - so is the weather. EVERYTIME! They have algorithms to avoid requesting donations over broadcast TV commercials, so this programming is intentional. I have tried every trick in the book to circumvent it. There are many better (and easier) ways to encourage donations without rendering the product useless. I have had (undonated) Locast for weeks and still have never seen local weather. Some trial. Forget trying this app. If you need it, buy it. I hope it works for you. Adobe and Microsoft made careers by holding you hostage. Locast is following suit.

This has to be one of the worst station of all time. Every day the video is out of sync not for minutes but for hour after hour. Then the stream doesn't play. There has to be thousands of people going threw this I have never ever had problems with a station like this one. How can u run a place like this. Then u have the guts to ask for donations. I pay alot for Hulu to get local channels that work.

I've seen bums on the street beg for less money than this garbage app. Expect to be constantly interrupted with videos asking for cash. Half the time it won't connect to my chromecast. Overall a terrible app and overall experience, I'd give it less than one star if possible, the app makers should be ashamed.
