Wow, I just finished battling with a different, more expensive, Calibre Android app tool, and Calibre Sync is so much more polished in comparison. I have encountered crashes when fast scrolling through my 600+ book collection but other than that it works well to download books onto my device. I wish the filtering was streamlined; I make heavy use of Series and it requires many clicks to browse. I hope this app keeps getting updates! Please update the screenshots: night mode on tablet is beautiful!

AMAZING. I LOVE this app. I've recently had a lot of trouble with syncing to my device, and various other issues with other apps. This is JUST the best. Many thanks to the developers!

Hello there, I just got the app, looks awesome. I connected to my synology server through webdav. I can connect and download library, but I can not download any files (or covers). any hints ? EDIT : I found out that the culprit was my self generated SSL certificate. It works fine over http. Will update to 5 stars if you can give an option to accept custom SSL certificate. Thanks ! EDIT : Latest update fixed the issue, thanks !

Almost perfect! The only concern I have is privacy. This app has access to root folder (my whole cloud infrastructure). Can you please limit your access to only the folder you're using? (pcloud)

An very good app which is still being actively developed and is a suitable replacement for the once excellent but now troubled Calibre Companion. The Calibre Sync team are very responsive to suggestions.

Notes:
- Calibre Sync is not a reader app. You must install and use one of the many excellent reader apps available.
- Only Microsoft OneDrive for Personal accounts (shared) are supported. Please email us if you observe any inconsistencies.
- Due to restriction in Box API, Calibre Sync must acquire write permission in order to download files, download is not a read action on Box. Calibre Sync guarantees that it will not perform any write actions against your data in Box cloud account.
- Calibre Sync use WebDav API of Nextcloud and OwnCloud services, and it requires case sensitive file system to work properly. Therefore, you must make sure that your libraries are set up on case sensitive file system (Linux, recent MacOS, Windows NTFS with case sensitive enabled).

Permission explanation:
- Calibre Sync only requires "storage permission" to store downloaded book formats on your device.

*For Lollipop devices* you must have sdcard available so that the app can download books to external storage.
