This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Stargate Command on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The app is getting better after the latest update. The organization of the episodes is still tedious, duplicate episodes appear, and the app lags as you're scrolling through content. The app doesn't remember where you left off in an episode but at least remembers which episode you last viewed. "Gate Cast" works again. The latest update restored most of the functionality that was taken away when they tried to give the app a face-lift.

I really, really wanted to like this app but it just doesn't work. I just wanted to easily watch stargate on my TV, so I installed the companion app to my firetv however the apps will not communicate making streaming impossible. Disappointing but I figure it's worth the 20 bucks to me to be able to watch interviews and behind the scenes footage. Every time I go to watch a video the app force closes, at this point the app literally has no use and it's unused. Please fix it.

**UPDATE 3: Is the data centre getting too much traffic? More bandwidth may fix this. **UPDATE 2: No better in the end. Bring back Ooyala player. **UPDATE 1: Force close, clear app cache and app storage then open/login. Fixed!** Love the app BUT... The latest update was good fixing the episode selection errors however the new player "gate cast" is causing buffering problems that the previous player did not... Not sure if the issue is the streaming server being bogged down causing buffer issues.

Gatecast works again after cleaning the app data. It was also installed on my tablet, which I use most but now it's no longer compatible and video doesn't show anymore. It would also be nice if the app remember where you left off if you need to stop during an episode

Watching experience is the worst I've seen. No cast support, app refuses to go landscape on tablet, which is ridiculous, etc... ANSWER TO DEV BELOW: You have NOT fixed ANY issues!!!! The app is still opening in portrait mode on my tablet even though I have set all apps to use landscape! Your app IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH TABLETS! Just stupid! Your devs are totally incompetent. And NO, I will not contact your techs, what are they going to do??? Magically make your app compatible with tablets???

Playing a movie or episode does not give me the option to cast to Chromecast despite the 7/30 update saying it does. Quizzes and articles are great, but without the ability to cast to larger TV's, I'm left disappointed.
