This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing TomTom CURFER on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. I have installed this in a Citroen C3 Aircross 2017. It doesn't record my journeys but the telematics work. And the overall information is ok except the journeys are not recorded. Otherwise a decent item. To update this......after uninstalling and reinstalling both app and curfer unit it has started working.

A good app which could be great with a few minor tweaks. My phone sits in landscape on my dashboard, but this app is locked in portrait only. I can see no real reason for this since the content would fit easily in portrait mode. Also, you only get the warning sounds for harsh breaking etc when the app is open on the foreground. Not ideal when you're trying to navigate somewhere and need to have maps open. These two simple changes would make the app far more useful. For extra bonus points, I'd love to see some sort of 3rd party integration with the Android Auto app , but I'd settle for the first two points!

Its ok when you remember to open the app prior to driving. Just a bit of fun i guess. Find my car thinks the car is at home even though track recorder recorded me driving to work.
