It's a shame how one can not read the bible without distraction. I get it that you want money through the ads, they can be only in the beginning of opening app or accept donations and keep the ads out. I am guessing most of these developers are not Christians, else they will know the significance of reading the bible without interruptions.

The Experience is Simple and Easy to Use, and THAT is what I want when I'm reading the Bible. Simplicity is at its finest. What I would want in this is: 1. Dark Mode - Could Really help when reading at night and when you're about to sleep. 2. Full Screen of the Books' List and Chapters - Because I am a bit claustrophobic 3. Red Text for Jesus' Words - Because I want to know what God has said to other people. These may be small, but could really impact my reading experience. Still Wonderful!

Be the Word and live in Christ, and not for your own pleasures. Everytime I see and read at work, home, etc. God is in me. If God is for me, who can be against me, amen.

It's just ok! Needs more colors for highlights. I'm not sure you can adjust the font as I'm still studying it.

About this app

This bible app strives for simplicity. All navigation is easy to find and accessible at the top of the screen and at the end of chapter, so you can quickly move around. It doesn't have any complicated features, and it doesn't send you push notifications. This app is for those who enjoy the pure, simple joy of reading the bible, unencumbered.

The translation used is New King James. This was the version that I, and many others, grew up knowing simply as "The Bible," and strikes a balance between the solemnity and power of the original King James Version, and the understandability of a modern translation.

This app, like all the other free bible apps out there, is ad supported. The difference is, I promise never to interrupt the experience with full screen ads. So many other apps out there do, and it's really annoying (that's actually what led me to create this app). By downloading this app, you are helping to support an independent app developer, and a christian, to make a living.
