This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Terracotta Warriors AR on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

Bad use of VR. Too gimmicky and cheesy. Doesn't actually augment anything - just paints a picture over the screen. The could have done so much more with this content!!!

The virtual Warrior buttons do not add the Warrior into the view.

Some of the coding for things like resizing (which also translates) was sloppy, but it had good ideas for what to do when a target was lost, and demonstrated SLAM well. The models were fantastic, and very well lit

It only worked once and I didn't want to share photo, but wanted to keep it. It never worked again after that.

Didn't work on my Samsung On5. Just gave me a black screen when I tried to launch the AR.

The Franklin Institute’s Terracotta Warriors Augmented Reality (AR) application is a companion experience for the Terracotta Warriors of the First Emperor exhibition at The Franklin Institute from September 30th, 2017 to March 4, 2018. This app allows the visitor to explore the ancient terracotta statues, digitally augmented holding weapons from the tomb of the First Emperor.

With the feature Mobile Warriors: Create Your Own Army, the app also allows you to digitally pose and create your own army of terracotta warrior statues wherever you are, take a screenshot and share that on social media!
